The VIP School Empowerment Coalition (VIP) stands as a transformative outreach division of Voices International Publications, dedicated to supporting schools that serve at-risk youth. By bringing written materials to life in a visual, hands-on platform, VIP empowers youth through collaborative efforts with VIP authors and instructors, along with influential figures such as celebrities, notable executives, entrepreneurs, and health professionals.

The VIP School Empowerment Coalition is a dynamic and visionary organization whose mission is to offer at-risk youth alternative pathways to overcoming emotional hardships, through skill-building opportunities and professional development. Their vision is to reduce emotional despair amongst youth and empower them to achieve their goals. Through education, guidance, and encouragement, VIP School Empowerment Coalition is empowering younger generations to make wiser and healthier decisions.

Our Story

Dr. Jamila T. Davis, founder of the VIP School Empowerment Coalition, has wasted no time in making a profound impact. In 2008, Dr. Davis was faced with a huge obstacle in her life as she was sentenced to 12 1/2 years in prison for bank fraud. During her sentence, she not only became motivated to rehabilitate and empower incarcerated women, but she also pursued higher education, earning numerous college degrees. After completing her sentence, Dr. Davis was adamant about making a positive social impact. Through her mission to empower others, the VIP School Empowerment Coalition was founded.
The boss up entrepreneurship program has opened up so many doors for many of us here, I know that it did for me, I always knew I wanted to be my own boss I just never knew how to do it and how to get there. But thanks to Doctor Jamila T. Davis, Ms. Tiffany Williams and many more we were taught step by step how to create and maintain our own businesses.

    VIP Empowerment Programs include workshops and seminars designed to engage up to 300 participants, offering one-on-one interaction and engagement. The workshops feature fun and engaging curriculums tailored to the audience ’ s needs. These programs are taught by skilled influencers, credible messengers, and celebrities. They not only provide enrichment and knowledge, but also boost the spirit and morale of participants.

    CUSTOM PACKAGES

    The organization offers custom packages to schools, institutions, community organizations, and various levels of government (city, state, and local municipalities) that seek to provide in-person, distance learning support to their communities. The organization’ s state-of-the-art platform provides 24-hour support, detailed tracking reports, and referral services to patrons.

    PARTNERSHIPS

    The organization offers services through its partnerships. These include community town halls that are broadcasted to inform and empower community members. Led by celebrities, influencers, and industry professionals, these broadcasted sessions cover topics such as financial literacy, social justice, career development, real estate, and more. The goal is to equip community members with knowledge, motivation, and confidence to succeed and overcome adversity.

    EDUCATION & CAREER DEVELOPMENT

    The organization believes in providing access and resources to support the development and success of students. As such, the organization offers meaningful college experiences for youth through partnerships with colleges and universities nationwide. This includes college tours and conferences on campuses across the country, ensuring that students can explore higher education options and gain valuable insight into their academic and career paths.
